There are places that drink for fun while others take to a whole new level. Here’s the low down on the top 10 countries that consumer alcohol like a sacrilege and is based on a study conducted by the Organization of Economic Co-Operation and Development. According to the research, it was concluded that the top 15 countries that consumer the most capita of alcohol consumption of the world were mostly European, except for 1. The statistics are based on the overall consumption of alcohol via litres per year.
Even with the results of the numbers, you have to take into consideration of the stats that include the customary consumption of alcohol as well the fact that come places have become accustomed to binge drinking. What better way to prove that you’re a hard core drinking nation. You are gonna know the final standings of those nations that drink their booze like its water and we are gonna start with the rituals, cultures and customs before we get to the ones that just drink for the fun of drinking.

27th May 2011 at 1:46pmMalaysia cannot be placed as the 10th biggest alchol drinking country. Drinking is not allowed in ome states in Malaysia. Among the Malays perhaps only about 20% drinks and that leaves the Chinese & the Indians. I am sure that not all the non-Malays drinks. I am the strong opinion that Malaysia cannot fall into that category of being a great drinking nation.

27th May 2011 at 11:56amI have been living in malaysia for over ten years now and off course seen changes but i have to say the report is totally wrong. Malaysia should be proud that they still have the youngster not drinking or even wanting too!!! They (the younger generation )still have respect what a lot of other countries cannot say about their youngest generation. Something other counties with right wing leaning government should look into! Hoeray for malaysia. Malaysia boleh.
