This weekend, in conjunction with Dumplings Festival, why not hop over to Lai Ching Yuen restaurant at Grand Milennium Hotel and savor their delicious dumplings? Dumplings or Bak Chang are traditionally savored on the fifth day of the fifth month in the lunar calendar in conjunction with the Dragon Boat Festival.
Chef Kong has ingeniously mixed glutinous rice dumpling recipe with abalone, Chinese mushroom and wrapped with bamboo leaves, with various fillings you can choose from, like: Glutinous rice dumpling with dried scallops and roasted duck meat (our favorite!); glutinous rice dumpling with roasted pork and lastly, sweet glutinous rice dumpling with white lotus paste.
Lai Ching Yuen rice dumplings are available from now till 23rd June and are priced from RM28++ to RM68++. Lai Ching Yuen is a non-halal Chinese restaurant located on the first floor and is open daily from 12noon to 2.30pm for lunch and 6.30pm to 10.30pm for dinner.
