17 July 2012 – LEGOLAND launches an innovative LEGO building competition allowing school children across Malaysia to build national icons out of LEGObricks. Recently launched at SK(P) Sultan Ibrahim School, it marks the first LEGO building competition in Asia and is set to inspire creative learning and develop educational values amongst the children. The competition is open to all school children in Malaysia and Singapore, aged four to fourteen and will be broken down into three different age groups. Siegfried Boerst, General Manager of LEGOLAND Malaysia added ‘We believe in play as an effective way of teaching children and our brand has always engaging and encouraging creative learning’.
