Faizal Sidik’s Sublime Weave Exhibition @ klpac

Inspired by 18^th century Irish philosopher Edmund Burke, Faizal Sidik’s Sublime & Beautiful series assimilates Eastern aesthetics, colour and traditional iconography in textile design, in addition to mathematical formulae and utensils to explore and achieve precision in design. Faizal Sidik’s works focuses on collective conscience, an idea he investigates using a variety of mediums, never confining himself within a specific media. He has had his works exhibited in many public and private art spaces around Malaysia and has also won awards for his artistic talents.
