Written by Sarah Ruhl, ‘Dead Man’s Cell Phone’ is a play that explores the journey of a disillusioned young woman towards self-enlightenment and spirituality. Jean is sleepwalking through life until she answers a dead man’s cell phone. It turns out to be a wake-up call that sends her on bizarre adventures with those closest to the deceased and unexpected trips to the afterlife and the black market. Along the dark, twisted journey, Jean reconnects to her own spirit and learns that life is for living.
