Alcohol content: 8.4%
An authentic beer that originates from the Carmelite monastery in Dendermonde, it is brewed following the original recipe that was written over 300 years ago. At a glance you’ll notice the golden yellow color followed by a heavy, cloudy body. On the nose, there’s a slight banana and vanilla scent to it followed by a light spicy end. There’s hardly any bitterness on the palate, followed by a dry, lingering floral taste at the end. A balanced three grained ale that is easy to drink despite the ABV.
