You’ll be able to notice the deep, brown amber body before the sweet honey aroma hits you. There’s the scent of caramel malts, toffee and clove before the fruiter elements begin to flower. You can clearly smell dark fruits in the beer including plums and raisins with a hit of citrus similar to summer beer. The sweetness of the malts and the subtle taste of the hops make this beer easy to drink. It’s quite malty like any American lager but with a Belgian, syrupy twist.
