Sangria Island

Sangria Island

Resort Island Club

Sangria has a resort island setting – wooden floors and red velvet creates the interior of the place. An open concept means you can people watch from the outside, while having pre drinks. This club is admittedly not the hottest place in town, but should not be missed if you’re on a pub crawl of P Ramlee. It’s occasional live bands and drinks aplenty in a slightly outdated decorated club.

Drinks-wise, the specialty here is it’s venue’s namesake – Sangria! A wine punch consisting of red wine, fruit pieces and juice. At Sangria, it’s RM60/pitcher and RM18/glass for both sangria and margaritas. Shooters are RM18, cocktails are RM23-RM35. For beer, it’s RM27.60/pint for Carlsberg, RM25.30/bottle of Budweiser and RM28/bottle of Corona. The signature food dish here is the roasted chicken (RM18.50). Other menu items include chicken ciabatta sandwich (RM14.50) and grilled lamb chop (RM22.50) There’s only 5 food items on the menu ranging from RM14.50-RM32.50.
