Frangipani

Flower Power
Frangipani boasts a French restaurant and 2 bars; Bibitus, the downstairs wine bar and the other bar turns into a friendly club on weekends. Known to host great events, Frangipani has an elegant and striking art deco facade, with a still black pool in the middle of the restaurant. One of the larger establishments on Changkat Bukit Bintang, it has a more chilled out atmosphere than places like 21 or Elixir. There’s always a place to sit and drink, and vice versa there’s a big dancefloor and a great DJ setup. Come here on weekends for a great party and during the week for a delicious 3 course meal or to chill out at the wine bar.
House cocktails, margaritas and long island iced teas are priced at RM38/glass. It’s RM32 per glass for spirits like whiskey and vodka. The draught beer available is Heineken. Rooted in traditional French cuisine, the menu consists of 3 courses plus desserts. There’s some delectable French treats like the crab and prawn bisque with crab quenelles, grilled basil garlic infused snails, roast pigeon berate and its ravioli of confit quail leg, grilled wage beef cheek and grilled betel leaf wrapped Angus tenderloin. The desserts are equally complex yet tantalizing; dark Valrhona chocolate ganache, French toast with rum raisin and pistachio and white chocolate cheesecake. It’s a set menu, and RM140++ per person for a 3 course meal.
