Make like a tree and root

There are a lot of new bars popping up outside of KL, so what makes Ecoba any different? If you’re thinking this is an environmentally-themed bar where you’ll only be drinking wheat-based barley brews, then you’re wrong. The ECO in Ecoba stands for eat, chill and ogle… at the birds both at the bar and perched on trees. Seriously.

The interior does stick to a ‘green’ look – take the huge upside-down sarang in the middle of the bar, for instance. The rest of Ecoba is filled with comfortable chairs, couches, tables and – when it’s not raining – Doof bags for outdoor use. There’s also food on the menu, serving local western and fusion dishes such as the Pasta Avocado Salmon, Kerabu Seafood Nusantara and Green Rice Nasi Lemak. Secluded as it’s seemingly a new development, Ecoba at PJ Trade Centre is a great place to chill and distract your eyes from that impending business proposal you’re working on.
